Artist – Jane Morgan, is acknowledged with accreditation by the Board of Selectors and invited to join The Royal Society of Sculptors.

 

The Society was created more than 100 years ago to champion contemporary sculpture and the artists who create it. It welcomes professionals whose practice centres principally in this form of media, and the developing associated forms.

The Royal Society of Sculptors was first awarded royal patronage in 1911 when it was recognised for its services to the art of sculpture.The Society has been privileged to enjoy the patronage of the reigning monarch and gratefully acknowledges the continuing support of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Royal Society of Sculptors is a peer led, membership organisation  supporting sculptors throughout their careers and leading the conversation about sculpture today via exhibitions and public events.  Located in a grand listed building, Dora House, South Kensington, the Society is just a few minutes’ walk from London’s great museums and public art displays.

Members join a network of sculptors from countries around the world.

Membership grants access to expert knowledge and advice from revered practicing artists. It also offers professional recognition permitting Members and Fellows to use professional accreditation after their name, MRSS and FRSS accordingly.

The sculptor members of the Board review all applications and select new members by majority vote.
